PRAYER FOCUS: THE PEACE OF GOD
Text: Philippians 4:6-8
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
One of the clear signs that we live in the last days and that Jesus’ return is near is the absence or scarcities of peace. The world we live in, has gradually and steadily drowned into a deep pit of conflict and chaos. We have a lot of people smiling on the outside but frowned in the inside, so much beauty on the outside but a lot of ugliness in the inside because of agitation, discomposure, discord disturbances, noises, worry. anxieties, frustrations, fighting, and war in many parts of the world. We don’t even know what to believe and who to trust!
Glory be to Jesus the only one whose peace surpasses all understanding, He cannot disappoint because He is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother! (Proverbs 18:24).
The truth of the matter is, we can never find true peace in what we drive, houses we live in or our environment where we live no matter how beautiful they are or what we possess except in God alone. Our ultimate peace is found in Jesus, not even in a church or a family.
One of things accompanied in the glory of God is peace! And when we invite Him passionately, He comes into our troubled spirits and stilled us. Scripture says, God will keep in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on God! (Isaiah 26:3).
In the Name of Jesus, I see supernatural peace coming your way.
Prayer:

- Lord Jesus, please grant me peace in my mind, health, marriage/family and all that I do.
- Lord, I ask that your peace overshadow all my fears and anxieties.
- Holy Spirit, please don’t leave me to myself, I need you everyday and always saturate my heart, soul and mind.
- Speak peace over your family, finances, community, businesses and in all you do.
