Text: Genesis 12:2
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
The blessing of God to Abraham was a benefit to Abraham and his generation . In terms of the ancient world, he was a success: he was well-respected, he was healthy, and he had many descendants and out of him was a nation Israel was born.
It is important to recognize that to be a blessing is far beyond just being favored, wealthy or even become great. To be a blessing is not for personal gain but to empower and transform others. This is when you have become a channel of blessing to your generation.
To be a blessing, is a state where God literally turns you into a solution that your family, community or the world is looking for. And I believe with all of my heart that God blesses us to be a blessing to others not for our selfish desires.
God’s blessings on our lives become sustainable only by how much impact we made on people especially when we take into cognizance the proportion of the blessings God gave us.
I see God turn you into mega blessings for your generation in Jesus’ Name.
Prayer

- Oh Lord my God, continue to make me a blessing to my generation!

- Oh Lord God , cause me to flourish in all blessings without end!

- Lord Jesus, release upon me the blessings that cannot be exhausted while I’m here on earth or even when I’m gone!
