PRAYER FOCUS: THE WILL OF GOD

Text: Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

This is one of the most quoted and misunderstood scriptures, because many people don’t really take their time to study this verse carefully with the Holy Spirit!

Few things to understand in this text; 

• • The thoughts of God is always good and not evil, and God doesn’t even tempt us with evil.
    Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: [James 1:13]. We must always remember that God’s plans towards us is beautiful and holy.
  • God does not enforce His good will to man! Because scripture says; I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
    [Deuteronomy 30:19]

Our text today, emphasizes very strongly that, what matters most in life is our expectations. The way we think determines the way we feel and what we become eventually. Don’t think weak if you want to be strong; don’t think failure if you want to be successful. God says; as for me , I have good plans and thoughts for you but I will give you what you expected. Our expectation is a driving force to our destiny. This text is literally saying that God respects our expectations. Therefore, no matter what you go through or your experiences are, always maintain the right expectations not negativity.

It is not hard to know the will of God. God want us to reflect His glory in every circumstance. It is therefore, important to align our thoughts to the beauty of God’s plans towards us. Because sometimes we become the very opposition of God’s plans for ourselves by virtue of our thoughts.

What we think about ourselves is more important than what anyone else thinks. Having good expectations no matter what our circumstances are , is key to ending successfully.
In the Name of Jesus, I decree and declare that every evil thoughts implanted into your mind by the enemy through fear, pressure, negative prophecy or any possible means, is hereby erased by the speaking of the blood of Jesus.

Prayer

• • Oh Lord purify my thoughts and grant me the right expectation.
  • Lord in the Name of Jesus, I pray that your will concerning my life and my family will certainly come to pass . I refuse to oppose your will because of my current status.
  • ⁠Lord, I’m aware you love me and your plans for me is peace and love. Lord help me to align.
  • ⁠Lord give me the strength to prevail against all temptations of life.
  • ⁠I pray Lord, that my will be lost in your will.
  • ⁠Lord in the Name of Jesus, I expect nothing less than victory in the month of February through the year 2026.
  • ⁠Lord, all I can see is your mercies and grace not shame, judgement or disgrace. Thank you Lord.

Food For Thought
How you think is more powerful than what the world think towards you. God will always give you what you expect not just His thoughts towards you.

Counsel
Intentionally align your expectations to the very thoughts of God towards you in all circumstances, it doesn’t matter what your situation is .

In the Name of Jesus, the month of February is hereby declared open. You shall see the unlimited blessings of God through the manifestation of the glory of God.
