12 DAYS OF GLORY FAST (DAY 12)
PRAYER FOCUS: THE BLESSINGS OF DILIGENT FAST
Text: Isaiah 58:6-8
“This is the kind of fast day I’m after: to break the chains of injustice, get rid of exploitation in the workplace, free the oppressed, cancel debts. What I’m interested in seeing you do is: sharing your food with the hungry, inviting the homeless poor into your homes, putting clothes on the shivering ill-clad, being available to your own families. Do this and the lights will turn on, and your lives will turn around at once. Your righteousness will pave your way. The GOD of glory will secure your passage.

God is a rewarder of them that seek Him diligently. The blessings of God is a reward of effort. It is a reward given to the one who is hard-working, attentive, constant and persistent to his devotion. Therefore, God is a rewarder. (Hebrews 11:6B).
Diligent fast break yorks, undo heavy burdens, demystify wicked mysteries, break the backbone of oppression, terminate injustice, cancel debts and break free. The blessing of diligent fast can never be over emphasized because the results outweighs the efforts in due time.
Diligent fast goes beyond usual fast. It is far more than abstinence from food or water for specific periods of time. That is fine but there is more to this.
Diligent fast will cost not only pleasure but causes you to stretch further to the sharing of some valuables to the poor or needy. This could be relief materials such as food or clothing the naked or at least putting smiles on someone who has been in pain. ISAIAH 58:7
This kind of fast is not for debate or attempt to self-inflictions. It is a combination of sacrifice, love and diligence. The enemy cannot withstand such a fast.
In the Name of Jesus, every strong hold of the enemy or any proud argument against your family, destiny or your life is hereby broken!
Prayer
- Lord Jesus, as the 12 days of the glory fast comes to an end today, break every satanic stronghold against my life and family in the year 2026.
- Lord, let my lights turn on and end every dark moment.
- Lord God almighty, oppress the oppressors. Break the camp of the wicked and bring to an end every long-aged situation.
- Lord, as I make effort to put smile on someone, do for me what I can’t do for myself.
- Lord, Thank you for the strength to have waited on you through fasting and prayer.
Food For Thought
Blessing is a reward of effort. Diligence is key to unlock iron doors.
Counsel
Be diligent, loving and sacrificial during such a fast.
I decree and declare in the Name of Jesus, that your reward of fasting shall be greatly rewarded and overwhelming.
