PRAYER FOCUS: BLESSING OF RESTORATION
Text: Genesis 9:1-2
And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Since the fall of man in the garden of Eden, human destiny became corrupted! Man lost integrity, honor, power, longevity and above all fellowship with his creator. Adam who was once powerful and full of wisdom now became vulnerable and powerless. Adam lost his place of authority and command!
Adam was powerful and full of God’s glory and wisdom that he could name all the animals, the birds of the air, the creeping things on the ground and the animals that live in water. (Genesis 2:19-20)
Immediately after Adam’s fall, he lost all this honor, glory and power. He became a prey to the very thing he was made to rule over. This is a great loss!!!
In our text today, we saw God blessed Noah and his family. This blessings which God pronounced on Noah and his family, was exactly the blessing he made pronounced on Adam and Eve in (Gen 1:28), this is restoration! This blessing, is made after ten generations had passed, roughly 1, 650 years from Adam to Noah.
Now, because God had restored man back to his state of origin of glory, he said to Noah, i will put the fear of you and the dread of you on every beast of the earth, in other words, a blessing is now pronounced on you and you shall take charge over what once threatens you.
According to the text today, the blessings of God brings restoration. Before the flood, God told Noah that no flesh shall live above 120 years , but after the flood, God pronounced a blessing upon Noah he lived another 350 years Gen 9:28-29 his total age was 950 years.
In the name of Jesus, I speak the blessings of restoration over you and your family and your properties. I speak the blessings of divine restoration, divine health, peace of mind, glory and beauty of His holiness.
Prayer
- Lord, in the name of Jesus, restore unto me all that the enemy has taken away from me.
- Lord take me back to the place of honor, power and dignity.
- Lord help me take charge over what’s meant to threaten me in the year 2026.
Restore unto me every trust and fellowship that I have lost with you
