PRAYER FOCUS: MAKING DEMANDS ON GOD’S GRACE
Text: 2Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
The Blessings of God cannot be separated away from the grace of God. It is difficult for someone to truly enjoy the limitless blessings of God without possessing some good measures of God’s grace.
What is the grace of God? How does it relate to the blessed?
The Grace of God simply means God’s strength in man’s weakness. 2 Cor 12:9. It is therefore a divine empowerment in a man’s inability.
It takes God’s grace for humans to live to God’s expectations. Except with the help of God, otherwise we can do nothing, absolutely nothing!
How does it relate to the blessed? Any time the devil wants to attack one’s blessings, he will first of all try to disconnect you from God through compromise, ungodly lifestyle, disobedience and all manner of sins. For instance, the first man Adam was blessed beyond measure till Satan got him disobeyed God and the blessings left.
The grace of God is a feed that sustains the blessed. It is like air in our lungs or a breathing apparatus or a respirator to the critically sick, or like fuel in a vehicle or an engine. It is like electronics with electric power!
Some blessings of God survive on the grace of forgiveness, healing for instance. While some material blessings is dependent on the grace of generosity one possesses, or being kind to the poor, widows and orphans certainly delivers from difficult situations or from traps of the adversary.
We must understand that when these graces are not in the possession of the blessed, sometimes is difficult to really flow in the limitless blessings of God.
On this light, the spirit of God ministered to me that we should make demands on all the grace that abound to every good work in the year 2026 while in this 12days of glory fast.
Prayer:
- Oh Lord, in the Name of Jesus, let your strength be made perfect in my weakness.
- Please Lord, keep me away from things that will cut my blessings short.
- Deliver me from all the schemes of the adversary that will disconnect me from your coverage.
- Lord, I secure all my blessings into your able hands. ”you can make mention of names of family members, loved ones and things you want to secure”
Food For Thought
The grace of God to the blessed, functions like; a respirator, ventilator, breathing apparatus or an oxygen mask to the critically ill.
