THE REWARDS OF PASSIONATE PRAYERS

Ministering: PASTOR RISKU

Text: 1Kings 18:45 -46

Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain came on and Ahab rode off to Jezreel. The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.

The rewards of the prayers of Elijah far outweighed his efforts. God is a rewarder of them that diligently look for Him. How much passion we put in what we do determines how much reward God releases.

God begins to magnify the little cloud that was like a man’s hand into clouds of heavy rain.

Among many of the benefits of passionate prayer is the life of the supernatural. Elijah ran ahead of Ahab. This must be supernatural for him to outran the chariots of Ahab. We cannot hang around with God in prayers for this long and remain ordinary people.

Moses is one example in the scriptures, he stayed with God for 40 days on the mountain, praying passionately until his rebellious congregation who complains about everything all the time became afraid and couldn’t look into his eyes. Moses was clothed with honor.

It is therefore worth rewarding to pray passionately. We cannot remain neutral spiritually and even physically. There must be a prove of transformation whatsoever!
I see God rewarding our sacrifices of prayers.

What Does It Mean To Pray Passionately?
To pray with passion means that one is focused away from distraction even if the presence of storms seems heavy and to real to ignore

Secondly, it means to give your best, your time, energy and all of your being in the alter of prayer.

Thirdly, it means to pray with revelation of the word of God. That the word of God is superior to the lie of the adversary and the conviction is so strong that can direct your emotions and the state of your mind

NOTE
It is more rewarding to pray passionately. God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
