RENEWAL OF STRENGTH

Ministering: PASTOR RISKU

Text: Isaiah 40.28 – 31

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Our God is a God of the new beginning. He doesn’t grow old, neither does he get tired. His strength is inexhaustible. He is tireless, weariless ever powerful.

His eye sight does not grow dim. God is older than time but ever fresher than tomorrow! There is always something new and with Him strength is automatically renewed .

Whenever men waits on Him, strength is automatically renewed. So when we associate with such a powerful loving God through a periodic fasting and prayer, something new begins to happen to us to the glory of God.

In the text above, an Eagle was used for illustration. Ancient Hebrew culture revered eagles as mighty warriors that also cared fiercely for their young. Eagles carry their eaglets to safety, away from the threat of predators. Eagles are also known for their strength and courage in dangerous, turbulent weather, soaring above storm clouds and to safety. They are this powerful because their strength is renewed periodically. I see God renewing your strength and hopes in this season and beyond in Jesus’ name.

COUNSEL:
Intentionally and deliberately begin to release some faith- praises to God in anticipation, because praise is the quality of mind that eulogizes the good and it is one of the avenues through which spirituality expresses.

The purpose of praise is to awaken in ourselves a higher realization of the omnipresence and power of God in every situation. Prayer and praise change man, not God. The mental attitude that praise sets up stimulates, quickens, whirls into action and through an inherent law of the mind, action will increase whatever we praise. One can praise a weak body into strength, a fearful heart into peace and trust, shattered nerves into poise and power.

PRAYER
*LORD, Give me the spirit of praise .
*LORD I need a renewal of strength and restoration of peace and tranquility.

I pray that the good Lord causes you to triumph in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
